    Directly at the Hermannsdenkmal, on the idyllic and historic Grotenburg, you will find the Tourist Information with store and showroom. 

    The Tourist Information team is available daily from April 1 to October 31 from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm: They are happy to answer questions about the monument, provide information on all aspects of hiking, including tour suggestions and hiking maps, and will be happy to advise you if you are looking for an exquisite souvenir from our "Hermann" or from the region. A special highlight is a digital showroom on the subject of hiking.

    From Detmold station, take bus no. 703 (Kreuzweg stop) or bus no. 704 (Hiddeser Straße stop), then a short walk to the Hermannsdenkmal.

    From April to November 1, you can use the tourist bus route 792 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The bus stops directly at the Hermannsdenkmal parking lot.
