    Built in 1825 by Prince Leopold II as a court theater, the Detmolder Landestheater today has 4 venues and entertains its visitors with drama, opera and ballet

    In addition to 4 different venues, the Detmolder Landestheater exports its diverse entertainment culture to cities throughout the German-speaking world, as the Detmold ensemble is one of the largest traveling stages in Europe.

    Tickets are available at the box office (Tue. - Fri. from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Sat. from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.) or at all ADticket advance booking offices, e.g. Tourist Information Lippe & Detmold

    From Detmold station take bus no. 701; get off at "Lippisches Landesmuseum".

    Bus parking spaces are available in Doktorweg next to the Landestheater.
