The municipality of Hüllhorst is located on the sunny side of the Wiehengebirge and is both tradition-conscious and very lively. A wide range of attractions for nature lovers and connoisseurs in a varied hilly landscape that can be explored on foot. Hike along the crest of the Wiehengebirge or cycle through the hilly landscape. Always with a view of hills, forests, streams or half-timbered houses.

The mountain range with its varied coniferous and deciduous forests, wild plants and animals is especially worth seeing in spring or fall. The Wiehengebirge has been part of the "Northern Teutoburg Forest / Wiehengebirge" TERRA VITA nature park since 1962. Since 2015, the Wiehengebirge has held the "Unesco Global Geopark" distinction awarded by Unseco.
