One of the most beautiful circular hiking trails through the Teutoburg Forest past unique forest graves in East Westphalia-Lippe

The trail runs for around 1.5 km along the "Forest Burials History Trail". You will pass the Steinbuch, which is a nature reserve, and after a short climb, enjoy a fantastic view of the so-called "Ascheloher Schweiz". The "Kaffeemühle" viewpoint awaits towards the end of the tour.

The circular hiking trail is well signposted in both directions. Please follow the green and white symbol with the footprints and the inscription 'Haller Spuren'.

Safety Guidelines

Part of the trail leads through nature and landscape conservation areas. Please stay on the paths.
