Herford station
The route starts in Herford at the railroad station and runs in a northerly direction parallel to the Werre as far as Falkendiek and then along the Bramschebach- Nagelsbachtal nature reserve before heading south over the Eggeberg behind the Homberg. The route continues through Schwarzenmoor and along the Uhlenbachtal nature reserve. At Hamscheberg, the route turns left (east) in the direction of travel and leads along the forest to Salzetal and from there along the Salze to Bad Salzuflen station. The route continues to the Werre and along it back to Herford and thus to the starting point.
