Park-and-bike station at the windmill in Levern
This path leads south of the new development area under shady trees to the so-called Lever Teich, a beautiful quarry landscape (transition to the ST2 possible). Below the brickworks in Niedermehnen, the path continues in a north-easterly direction. Meadows, fields and pastures alternate. Due to the close proximity of the Großer Diekfluss watercourse, herons can often be observed here. If you want to continue to Oppenwehe, you can turn left after Babbelage onto the ST4 and from there onto the ST5. Otherwise, the route leads in a southerly direction through the Lever Forest (newly created fish pond) via Destel and back to the mill in Levern.
Always pay attention to the road safety of your bicycle. For your own safety and as a role model, we recommend wearing a bicycle helmet.
