Burgmuseum Horn

Admission to the museum is free.

Guided tours can be booked outside opening hours and throughout the year.

Flat rate for guided tours (approx. 1.5 hours) from 70 euros
Children's birthday party as a compact offer (3 hours) up to 10 children 120,- Euro
(each additional child 5,- €uro)

From the direction of Detmold (B 239 - Nordstraße):

At the traffic circle, take the first exit "Potthof". After 100 m you will find the parking lot on the left-hand side. From there, a footpath leads over a small bridge to the castle. Turn left, after a few meters turn right through a gate in the town wall and you will reach the entrance to the castle.

From direction B1, Paderborn

1st exit: Horn, turn left, then follow the road to the right in the direction of Horn. Immediately after the gas station, turn left into Potthof. After approx. 400 m you will see the castle and the adjacent parking lot on the right-hand side. See above for footpath!

From the direction of Detmold-Heiligenkirchen (L 828)

Coming from Heiligenkirchen, drive past Holzhausen-Externsteine and turn left at the crossroads after the "Horn-Bad Meinberg" sign and then turn left immediately after the petrol station into Potthof street. After approx. 400 m you will see the castle and the adjacent parking lot on the right-hand side. See above for footpath!
Coming from Meinberg (B239)

From the Meinberg traffic circle (B 239) drive in the direction of Horn to the traffic circle behind the railroad line, then take the 1st exit to the next traffic circle, turn left there (3rd exit) and at the 3rd traffic circle go straight on (2nd exit), after approx. 100 m you will see the castle with adjoining parking lot on the left-hand side.
