Pollhansplatz is a large open space in the center of Schloß Holte right next to the train station. Gravel paths run through the lawns.

Pollhansplatz is primarily home to the Pollhans market: the funfair, business show, farmers' market and marquees extend the square to the surrounding streets. But smaller events such as circus shows or Funny Sunday to mark the 50th anniversary of SHS also take place here.
