The Höxter-Holzminden airfield is located above the village of Höxter-Brenkhausen. It is a beautiful destination not only for pilots. On nice days, you can watch numerous aircraft take off and land from the café's viewing terrace while enjoying coffee, cake and a great view. 
For those who love more thrills, perhaps try a parachute jump or a sightseeing flight in a gyrocopter.
