The large bathing lake is the pleasing result of many years of gravel mining for those seeking relaxation. With a size of 90,000 square meters and a constant flow of mountain spring water, it offers anglers just as much leisure fun thanks to its rich fish stocks as it does for the little ones on the sandy beach in the non-swimmer area. Playgrounds, mini golf, snack bar, restaurant and kiosk complete the leisure facilities.

For boat owners and water-skiing enthusiasts, the 80,000 m² harbour facility with direct access to the Weser is a paradise. 68 boat moorings, a slipway and a designated water-skiing area are included.
