    Lake Lippe is located around nine kilometers from Paderborn city centre in the Sande district. The lake, which was created by sand excavation, has now reached a size of over 100 hectares and has developed into a popular leisure lake.     Access to the lake is free of charge. Exceptions are the bathing beach and the neighboring water ski lake, where an entrance fee is charged.

    By car:
    Take the A 33 freeway to the Pad-Schloß Neuhaus exit; then head towards Münster. At the exit to Sande, turn right into Sennelagerstraße and drive to the parking lots at the leisure facilities and restaurants of the Lippesee. (Navigation destination address: Sennelagerstraße 62, 33106 Paderborn)
    By public transportation:
    Take the city bus lines 4, 9 (PaderSprinter) to the stop "Sande, Kirche" or the city bus line 9 (PaderSprinter)to the stop "Lippesee" .
