Lecture/reading Workshop

Academy for school students

Colorful flowering meadows are not only beautiful to look at, but also an important habitat for many animals and plants. Together, we get to know the meadow in contrast to the native lawn and find out who lives here. We focus on observing animals, but also on ecological relationships with regard to biodiversity and the sustainable use of our environment. We take a close look when we examine a piece of meadow and get to know the first scientific working methods. Of course, there will also be games and a shared lunch break.
The event is aimed at primary school pupils in years 3, 4 and 5. The event is designed in such a way that 5-6 pupils from several elementary school can participate and thus exchange ideas across schools. During the event, materials from the Wiesenkoffer, which was developed at the Moorhus for school classes to borrow, will be used.

The participation fee for the Pupil Academy is €3. Free of charge for participants in the state program School of the Future.

We ask that teachers of interested pupils register in advance at bne@moorhus.eu by 22.05.2025.
