Maypole and bike festival Hövelhof

In Hövelhof, spring is heralded with the ringing of the bicycle bell. On the last Sunday in April, the Senne municipality of Hövelhof welcomes the cycling season and the warm time of the year with the Maypole and Cycle Festival.

On this day, everything in the center of the cycling community revolves around bicycles. After the traditional erection of the maypole by local craftsmen from 11.30 a.m., there are numerous stands and activities for cyclists in the town center. The cyclists will also be blessed at 12 noon. At the same time, the beer garden and cycling season starts with a fresh and cheerful program for the whole family. The stores are also open on this day.
