In the footsteps of Annette von Droste Hüllshof, this hike takes you towards Alhausen and back to Bad Driburg via the Rosenberg
.
"It's scary to walk across the moor", but not this way. The route leads through the Count's Park towards Alhausen, which lies picturesquely at your feet just behind the Rosenberg. A detour to the "Weberhaus", the birthplace of the poet Friedrich Wilhelm Weber, is worthwhile in Alhausen. The route continues to the Pension Ethner in Reelsen. The restaurant also has a beer garden. Then it's back over the Rosenberg to Bad Driburg. It is not known whether our famous German poetess, from whom the quote at the beginning comes, once walked this path. In any case, part of this trail is named after her.
