The ancestor and founder of today’s Gräflicher Park, Count Caspar Heinrich von Sierstorpff, wanted to create a ‘place of rural pleasure’ out of the spa baths that previously existed here.
This 235-year tradition of hospitality at the foot of the Teutoburg Forest is still continued today, and the complex is now managed by the seventh generation of the family.
