The Focus Area SHIFT interrogates how the Americas are shaped by shifting geopolitical constellations, competing forms of knowledge, moral economies, and new developments in technology and creativity.
Join us for *Shifting Worlds: InterAmerican (Dis)Entanglements*, an international conference bringing together international scholars to explore these questions and examine the complex connections, tensions, and transformations shaping the InterAmerican world.
Over two days, the conference will feature panels on:
Geopolitical Constellations
Orders of Knowledge
Moral Economy
Technology and Creativity
Through interdisciplinary discussions and critical perspectives, we will question established narratives and explore new ways of understanding the Americas and their global connections.
Convenors: Prof. Dr. Kirsten Kramer & Prof. Dr. Olaf Kaltmeier
